Chief Operating Officer (COO), Co-Founder

As the Chief Operating Officer of Barrantes & Associates Inc., Amanda provides strategic leadership and oversight across all divisions of the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services. She is responsible for intake coordination, policy development, regulatory compliance, and program enhancement to continuously improve the organization’s impact. Amanda plays a key role in expanding services, optimizing workflows, and fostering community partnerships to strengthen support networks for clients and staff alike.

With a strong background in frontline support, Amanda has a deep understanding of the needs of both clients and staff. She works closely with management and frontline teams to uphold a trauma-informed, person-first approach, ensuring that services are tailored to individual goals and challenges. She is also committed to staff development and fostering a positive workplace culture, where everyone feels heard and supported.

Beyond day-to-day operations, Amanda leads initiatives to enhance service quality, strengthen interagency collaborations, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations and industry standards. She actively works with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and community organizations to advocate for innovation in social services and person-centered care.

Amanda holds an Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant diploma from Mohawk College and a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology, from the University of Guelph. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time outdoors, DIY projects, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats.
