Parenting Time Supervision support

The Barrantes & Associates Inc. Supervision program focuses on the needs of the child by partnering with parents to meet these needs through mentoring, teaching, and attachment activities.  The goal is to achieve positive family outcomes while maintaining safety and fostering healthy connections between parents and their children.  

Barrantes & Associates Inc. incorporates trauma screening into the intake process to better understand family trauma and it's impacts through screening and assessment. This allows for more effective interventions and support that will help prevent additional harm to the family system.  Upon receipt of the intake application, parents complete an individual intake interview to determine the need for service.  All of the supervised visits and exchanges are documented within a report made available to the parents and courts.

Supervision of Parenting Time  

The Barrantes & Associates Inc. Parenting Time Supervision program provides neutral, third-party supervision of parents with their children when there is concern about the safety and well-being of the child. These services are offered:  

• To the adherence of mediation and separation agreements or by court order
• To maintain family connections and attachment after family breakdown 
• By educated and skilled associates, committed to building relationships and positive experiences with families

Supervised Child Exchanges  

Barrantes & Associates Inc. facilitates supervised exchanges between parents at an agreed upon location, with a focus on reducing the child’s exposure to further conflict and establishing safe boundaries between parents. 

These services are available within family homes, in the community, or at the Barrantes & Associates Inc. Supervision Center, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, (including weekends, holidays, and overnight visits).
